A Silent Drama with Mysterious Masks: Kagura
Kagura piece has absolutely gorgeous costumes that are handcrafted masterpieces – the traditional clothing is embroidered with gold thread and the performers wear mysterious paper masks. The performers act out a dramatic story that comes alive with movement and sound. As a root of Kabuki and Noh, this kagura has been handed down for 400 years and is highly appreciated as a cultural asset.
